BLAZE 1
Three stacking bands with 15 white diamond baguettes. The settings are white gold atop 14k rose gold bands. Shift the stack and you get a different design. This is one of my favorite custom projects for my newly engaged european friends who have subdued exquisite taste.
BEETHOVEN FRIEZE: ODE TO JOY
Engagement ring set. 11 tiny stacked 18ky bands with 11 colored diamonds in the greens, golds and yellow hues. Bezels are organically shaped to get that perfect wrapped nest-y stack of gold on your finger.
RENDEZVOUS IN THE FOREST
Vintage noir with a twist of Edwardian. Designed from her best friend's remark "that it should look like it could be in the Twilight series" (I had never seen but in researching became addicted, thanks).
This beast hosts a 1.5 carat diamond set in 6 white gold prongs each with a diamond set on the outside base. The two side "arrow" shapes hold 3 pave set diamonds.
STARRY NIGHT
This wedding band set has 14 multi-sized white diamonds all prong-set in 18k white gold. 3 full round stacked bands shift into different configurations of "constellations". The next photo shows her man's 18k white gold wedding band and her new step-daughter's ring with 3 different sized diamonds to symbolize all in their new family trio.
THE KISS
Look familiar? Once my client was proposed to with the 11 tiny diamond bands, her family came forth with a gorgeous heirloom stone. 11 was symbolic for this couple so I recreated in in 3 parts; Two bands each housed 5 of the tiny bands. The middle held the 11th stone, the family diamond, in which I kept clean and simple by bezel setting it in 18ky brushed gold. It glows now!
EMBRACE
Sparks flew when these two met and they got hitched in under 8 months of meeting each other. These are 14k full round wire rose gold wedding bands with a brushed finish. P.S. it's been nice to see their growing family. I have since made a name plate necklace mother's day gift that was of the baby's name in a hand drawn font by the new daddy-o.
THE DREAM
This 2.5 carat diamond was set in 18k white gold with chocolate and smoke colored accent melee diamonds. This important stone was a family diamond that made it out of Auschwitz by the proposer's grandfather. The progressive family was thrilled this was passed on to the lovely and talented photographer bride from Berlin.
THE WILD
This 18ky brushed gold wedding band was made for a dear friend who finally found his girl. The small round band on top spins over the wider band. This is (super) comfort fit so it feels like butter.
AND HALF
3 dates was her rule for online dating and it almost ruled out her husband! This was the commitment set that inspired my many stacked ring designs. These are three 18k white gold full round bands that have 5 bezel set diamonds from the bride's grandmother's old jewelry.
